      Background

In the study of YoongJ who conducted early palliative care and explored the reason for achieving survival extension, the "talk with family members" factor emerged as a feature of the intervention group about disease. Human relations that can talk about anything suggests an improvement in quality of life and appropriate ties to medical care. What can the patient association do after receiving this research? We held a workshop to encourage communication between family members and patients and examined its usefulness.

There are a lot of answers that express the change of mind. My family "do not have to endure" "They all have the same trouble." The patient often said that "I knew that my family was suffering".

From the questionnaire, it was thought that the family lost heart and the patient got "awareness" to remember the family, and the usefulness of the workshop was suggested. Continuously, it is important to continually implement programs that better communicate between patients and families and contribute to QOL improvement.
